The National Museum of Colombia is the oldest museum in Colombia. Its collection is divided into four collections: Art, History, archaeology and ethnography. His collection of Colombian, Latin American and European art includes paintings, drawings, engravings, sculptures, installations and decorative arts from the colonial period to the present day. His property was originally the penitentiary of the Paoptica, being his architect the Dane Thomas Reed.
