The Museum of Modern Art collection is one of the richest in its kind in the country. It includes works from the end of the nineteenth century to contemporary pieces; Which come from not only Colombia, but also from Latin America, Europe and the United States.
The international collection includes one of the famous serigraphs of "Marilyn" by Andy Warhol, as well as works by Picasso, Bacon, ARP, Dalí, Javacheff, Giacometti, Oldenburg, etc. The museum's collection of Latin American art is especially important with works by Amelia Peláez, Jesús Rafael Soto, Carlos Cruz Díez, Alejandro Otero, Rogelio Polesello, Roberto Matta, Fernando de Szyszlo and Wifredo Lam, among others.
The Colombian art collection includes works by Andrés de Santa María, Ricardo Acevedo Bernal, Fernando Botero, Alejandro Obregón, Guillermo Wiedemann, Juan Antonio Roda, Happya Bursztyn, Bernardo Salcedo, Beatriz González, Enrique Grau, Maripaz Jaramillo, Ana Mercedes Hoyos, Edgar Negret, Nadin Ospina, Hernán Díaz, Carlos Rojas González, Eduardo Ramírez Villamizar and María Fernanda Cardoso, among others.
It also has one of the largest photographic collections in the country, with nearly half a million items and pieces of graphic and industrial design. These collections are displayed to the public only through temporary exhibitions.
